Information I may collect
Depending on how you contact me, I may collect:
your name;
email address;
telephone number;
information you provide about your family or photography enquiry;
information submitted through website forms, Facebook or Instagram lead forms;
booking, payment and correspondence information if you become a client.
I only ask for information that is reasonably necessary for the purpose for which you are contacting me.
How I use your information
Your information may be used to:
respond to your enquiry;
administer a competition, Register to Win promotion or other offer you have entered;
contact you about your entry;
arrange a Discovery Call;
manage a photography booking;
provide the photography experience and any products or artwork you order;
keep appropriate business and financial records;
send marketing communications where you have agreed to receive them or where I am otherwise permitted to do so.
Entering a competition or making an enquiry does not automatically mean you have agreed to receive unrelated marketing communications.
Facebook and Instagram lead forms
If you submit your information through a Facebook or Instagram lead form, the information you provide is passed to Alex Class Photography so that I can administer your entry or respond to your enquiry.
Meta may also process information through its Facebook and Instagram services in accordance with its own privacy terms.
Lawful basis
Depending on the circumstances, I process personal information because:
it is necessary to respond to your request or take steps towards providing a service;
it is necessary to perform a contract with you;
I have a legitimate business interest in managing enquiries, competitions and my photography business; or

How long I keep your information
I keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
Enquiry and competition-entry information that does not result in a booking is normally deleted or anonymised when it is no longer required.
If you become a client, some information may need to be retained for longer for contractual, accounting, tax or legal purposes.
Who I share information with
I do not sell your personal information.
Information may be shared with trusted service providers where necessary to operate the business, such as website, CRM, email, payment, accounting or cloud-storage providers.
These providers may only process information as required to provide their services.
